So, who's not ready for the next couple weeks of life? *raises hand* One month from this past friday I will be in Menahga beginning staff training, and starting another crazy awesome summer at camp. I am so excited. At my interview last year for camp the program director told me kind of as a warning, I guess, that camp is a ton of fun, but most people say at the end of the year it's the hardest work they've ever done. Chris and I talked about that this weekend, and both of us don't find that to be true. First of all, yeah ,you get physically tired, because it's 100 degrees for a week and you're still running around 15 hours a day trying to keep up with your campers, but you don't burn out nearly as fast as when you're at school. Second of all, it's stuff you want to be doing, sure things like hobos and work projects aren't great, but they're a small price to pay for the rest of the week.
Two weeks from today I will be in Moorhead with a van full of my stuff, and done with school for almost four months. That'll be a good feeling. Especially since Chris took his last final on Friday. He came down to visit me this weekend, and left at 5:30 this morning, crazy guy, had to get back for Sunday School though, I admire that dedication. It was a pretty good weekend, Chris was officially initiated into the city by being spit on by an obviously jaundiced drunk guy at the bus stop asking for money, it was pretty disgusitng. That evening he took me out to Crown College, which is about 30 miles out of the city so we could be somewhere quite, and it was quiet, it was fabulous. We went and sat on a really shaky dock on their lake and watched what we think may have been a lot of otters feeding on the lake. It was fabulous.
Today I have a crap load of things to do for next week, I have my lab practical tomorrow, a Micro quiz on tuesday, and on wednesday I have a report, and worksheet due in OChem lab, and a final in Psych. But thursday on out is pretty easy going, as far as finals weeks go, I have my O Chem final on Thursday, and a non-cumulative Micro final on Friday, so I pretty much have a solid week to study. Alright, I really have to do stuff now, I may resurface after finlas, we'll see.
