And I'm back, there's some extra time before I head to Chem lecture, so how are you all? Ok, so for the first almost month of school our Dining services had cream cheese in little individual packets Well they decided that was too fancy for us, and now we have on big block of cream cheese all the time, it's pretty nasty. So, I used to steal bagels and cream cheese to eat before my morning classes, because it's a lot of work to go down to UDS that early in the morning. This weekend, I finally broke down and started buying my own cream cheese, I've been beaten by the system. Damn the man.

So this weekend, even with Albert here, was amazingly productive. I got two of my three big porjects done, and my third is on it's way. I have my last Bio exam before the final next thursday, and I'm really excited for thanksgiving, and "winter break". time off, with nothing to do but relax, no homework, no play practice, just relaxation, and vacation. Yey.

Alright, time to go configure some electrons, ugh and I have chem lab today. i hate lab days.

I've often heard the saying "Close enough to hear the gunshots" when describing a person's location in a city genreally. Here it's definitly true. I hear more gunshots here than I ever did at home. I'm pretty sure I just heard a shooting, I heard a gunshot go off, and a couple minutes later the sirens came our direction. It's sad, but I really do think we hear a lot more shootings than we realize. Alex tells me that they're in the paper all the time. I have to head to bed though, Jenny (my roommate is telling me to go to bed.) Have a lovely night, and sorry for the morbid post, but it was jsut something I had on my mind.

Hello Blog viewers, I am currently waiting for my laundry to be dry. Diong your laundry at noon is excellent, no one is in the laundry room. I hear Trent making hsi way down the hallway, fumbling with keys, toilet seats, and garbge cans. Trent is out maintence man. He's pretty cool, I was coming home from comp one day, and I saw him standing in the hallway staring up at the ceiling and the light cover was lying on the floor. He had broken it with his broom, he was pretty funny about it too, he walky talkied down to the manager people, and they brought up a new one.

I've decided college is a lo more fun this month than it was last month. It's so much easier, I'm a lot more comfortable with Jenny, which makes living so much easier, and I'm getting to know Pat, and lot of the people on my floor. I'm also getting toknow which people I should be making better friends with, and with whom to remain acquaintainces. My classes are starting to feel more routine as well, so i know what's coming, and can work ahead, so if i get a lot of homework i don't necessarily have to have it done that night. it's pretty nice.

Last night Jenny decided to procrstinate her homework for a good chunk of time. Betso you would be impressed with her procrastination skills, I might even venture to say they're even better than yours. Though it is a close call. sHe's decieving she does something else "productive" like testing the water in the fish tank, or putting up posters, we have a lot of posters in our room after last night. But it looks really cool. I like it, and I'm going to bring one of my paintings from home and hang it by my closet. So yey. I shoudl vaccumm today, so I should get going. Have a lovely day though, and a happy October.

Hola blog viewers, i realize it has been a while since my last post, so I thought it was about time to put up another one. I had an eventful past week. I took my first college level test in Chemistry and got an 85% which i was very happy with, i wasn't expecting to do that well. I also took one in pre-calc, but i don't know how I did on that one yet.

Last night i accompanied Alex, Brent and Elizabeth to a James Seawell ballet production. It was really cool. The first piece was about gypsies, and they had beautiful cosutmes. It was a very dynamic piece, so yey. the second one was like modern ballet, and they had freakin' cool costumes, they were multi colored body suits, and each arm coordinated with the opposite leg. They made a really neat visual effect. The last piece was a Guy Noir episode combined with ballet. Garrison Keilor narrated it, and then dancers acted it out. It was really funny. I liked it a bunch.

After the ballet, Alex and I watched A Fish Called wanda in my room, and it was hilarious, I'd seen part before, and didn't appreciate it nearly as much. I got a couple good quotes from it even. "It's saying 'Do you have any children?' and hearing 'They all burned to death on Wednesday.'" and then "We did not lose Vietnam, it was a tie!"

Today has been less exciting, lots of homework, i had to go to a workshop at the library for my comp class, and i was taught basically how to use a search engine to research things. i could have figured that out on my own thank you very much, but now it's done, so that's nice. My biggest problem with today is that with the winds we've been having this week my allergies are being evil, and they giving me vertigo. It comes and goes, but all through the workshop i felt like i was going to throw up, or pass out, or both. I'm feeling better currently, but what i really need is motion sickness medicine, which can only be found downtown at target on the weekends, so I'm going to have to make a trip there tomorrow, plus I'm running low on chocolate, and I've heard they have the mittens I'm looking for.

Anywho, I'm off now, i have some more homework to do before i head to Madagascar with Alex and Natasha(my next door neighbor). have a lovely week, and happy fall!
