So fun story. Two of my fellow counselors, Maren and Rachel B. and I drove to Park Rapids to do laundry, visit Pamida, and the DQ. We ran into three fellow counselors there, and then on the wa back, Maren I was driving and we were going about 70 in a 60mph zone, and a cop comes up behind her and pulls her over. Her first thought before the office made his way up was where is my "Ministry Team" shirt? But it was in the trunk, so he comes up, and the first questtion he asked was "where are you headed?". We responded back to camp, and he goes oh, capm Emmaus? Ym daughter is heading there tomorrow. So we were really hoping that she was in Marens cabin, but alas she's in Andrea's.

And for some reason this week I am sharing a cabin with another counselor, and i don't know why, and I'm not terribly excited about it, but I might go call her now and start some planning for the week. Love to all, and continue enjoying your summers.

So I haven't updated for a while, so I thought i could do a quick one here. This past week I've been doing day camp in Crookston. It was intense, I had 19 third and fourth graders, and their attention spans were about that of an ant. I had two helpers, but if the kids wouldn't listen to me they sure weren't going to listen to them. It was wild.

Staff training was awesome, I loved it. I'm totaly going to post the best quotes of the summer. Just to give you a precursor, this was one from Derek to Bobby Jo (who are an item). "I got you a flame thrower, because I think you're hot." It was great. And the Bible parties aren't as crazy as I thought they would be. Yey!

Well, today Im going to pack to go up to LOWBC (lake of the woods bible camp), and I'm really excited. I get to start off with a smal cabin, and have a laid back week. The only thing is these are fourth and fifth graders, so they're going to be somewhat clingy, oh well, it should be a good time. I'm off for now, it's time to go for lunch, yey for food.

Hello my blog viewers. I have now spent my first successful week at camp. I'm on break, huzzah. We're off until sunday. It's been crazy, I've been certified for lifeguarding, first aid, CPR, and camp counseling. And I can now take my children on camp out. It's hot again today. but I'm pretty much done writing now. I'll try again when it's cooler.
