Ah, beginning of the third week of classes, and I'm wiped. Of course it is a monday, and monday's suck behind. 7 hours of class, between 8am and 9pm. 6 hours of Bio straight. As bad as my classes sound, they're not so bad, the real problem is that i'm so freaking hungry all the time. I get approximately 1.5 meals per day. I get lunch most everyday, but it's UDS and as hungry as i am nothing looks appealing. I keep dreaming about food, and it's amazing, then I wake up, and oh yeah I get UDS. Alex and I are going grocery shopping on thursday though, and I'm going to buy instant mashed potatoes! I *heart* instant mashed potatoes.

This weekend was crazy, Albert came down on thursday, and left this morning, because we forgot to take his car out of the garage and he didn't want to pay for parking. Friday night was low key, we watched beauty and the beast, and played scatagories and trivial pursuit. Saturday we went to the fish store and after a crazy bus ordeal brought back two new fish, and crab and an acquatic frog. Though the crab almost didn't make it home, I had to put him in my coat to keep him from freezing. Then we went to see Corpse Bride at Coffman. Sunday i was a cool person and went to my first concert. It was Pat's (Jenny's boyfriend) band Sliver. They were pretty good I must say, and they even gave away free cd's.

Anyway, I am going to go see if there is any supper to be found. Wish me luck.

Hello all. I am currently watching the crows fly over my res hall, and let me tell you they are a massive army. On the way to Bio lab last week Anne and Alison made up a story that the crows were their minions, and they were really animorphs, that was an enjoyable walk.

So this semester I feel like I'm going to domuch better at school. i know the campus somewhat, I have learned how to work with professors, I kind of know the system with labs, lecture, discussion etc. I have some problems with my biology class though. We have about 10 hours of class per week, in this are included 2 3 hour labs, from 6-9pm, ew. Now if I were getting 10 credits like it seems like I should, I would be ok with it, but am i getting 10 credits? Nope only 5, so I'm allowed to be a little bitter.

In more fun news, I started volunteering at the children's hospital last week, and it's pretty fun. The first day I got to hold a little baby for about 45 mins, and play basketball with a little boy. Yesterday I got to hold a little baby for about 2 hours, and i pulled a littel girl around in a wagon until she fell asleep. This is one of the most relaxing volunteer experiences.

I have to run to calc lecture though, but i will return someday!

So spring semester has been in session for three days now. So far I don't horribly dislike any of my professors/TA's. My math TA rocks my face off. I need that. My Chem TA is a bit worrysome though, he doesn't speak english well, and seems fairly confused most of the time.

Crazy thing happened in Calc discussion today, we went around and did introductions, and there was a girl who came up to me after class, and apparently I went to Bible camp with her. I remember her now, but I have such trouble recognizing people. So that was pretty cool. I'm pretty sure we went for the Cabin Rachester year.

In other news, I think Jenny and I are going to live in Riverbend Commons next year. We'd get a kitchenette, probably seperate bedrooms, and all kinds of cool stuff. Plus we'd actually be by our classes, and Anne is living there next year too. I do have to clear it with my parents first, but depending on how much food we buy it wouldn't cost more than 100-400 extra dollars, and I wouldn't have to get food poisoning from UDS. And added super bonus. I can still be a health advocate there. So I'm pretty excited.

Anywho, I have to get some reading done before lunch, so au revoir.

If I could leave this place then I'd be sailing/ to corners of my land where there would be / sweet southern winds of liberty availing/ a beauty so majestic and free.
I *heart* Aida

i hate it here. People are narrow minded, rude and stupid. And my shift key sucks! i really want to hut them with things. I'm going to go play violent video games.

So i posted yesterday, and forgot the two things I was planning on saying in the first place. First I wanted to tell you about my crazy dream. I was in another country somewhere, and there were Panda Bears everywhere, and one of them got inot the room where I was staying, and was trying to eat my mittens. When I took my mittnes away from it, it started eating my hands, and it hurt a lot. Then I was in my kitchen and one of the pandas was there too, and it started biting ym feet, and I didn't appreciate it.

The second thing was that if I were an animal Laurie says i would be a seahorse.

The end.

Hello all, updates since finals. I did satisfactoraly on my finals, I by some miracle was able to maintain exactly a 3.5 gpa, and therefore will not be kicked out of honors this semester. Huzzah! I did get quite a few B's though, which was a little tough to take, but i'm over it.

Break has been relaxing definitly, but not how I was anticipating it would be. Right now I'm supposed to be in Hawaii I'd probably be about to head to bed. However, my mom has been having a lot of trouble with her gal bladder, and has been in a lot of pain, so we canceled the trip. Luckily she does get her gal bladder removed this week, and should be feeling better once she's recovered from surgery. I am not as bitter about missing the trip as my other two siblings, because of my ankle. It's still healing. I finally went to see the doctor last week, because my parents were wondering if it was broken, and it was in fact a level 3 out of 4 sprain, so i did a good job. And on the plus side, I got to see my bones!'

For new years we planned a trip to go stay in a hotel in Canada, just albert, laurie, alex and i. However it stormed up there, so we ended up celebrating at Albert's house, and it was a good time definitly. We watched movies, Laurie and albert polished off two bottles of champagne, and I almost finished my bottle of fake champagne. We visited Alex at work, and played in Albert's hot tub. And i saw the first shooting star I've ever seen!

Now I have alot of down time before returning from break. I'm getting more ready to head back, I'm missing my college friends more. They're beginning to pop up in my dreams again, but I'm not ready to start classes just yet. I'm totally terrified for calc, and a little bit scared for Bio as well, but hey, Jenny is a math genius, and my roommate.

Any who, i am off to bed now, it's late once again. nightly night.
