Hello All,
Today is officially the first day of finals. Here's the deal, I sprained my ankle last night. Bah, I feel so dumb. But it's not going to be fun walking to my finals today. Why did I have to pik such a damn big school? Poor planning that's why. I never thought, oh if I sprain my ankle this would not be a good place to be. I think my finals today shoudl go alright, but I just don't want to walk to them. Sigh. Silly body, doesn't really seem to want me to live. Jenny went to go get a health advocate though, so hopefully I can get an ace wrap or something to help me out. I'm afraid to take too much as far as pain medicine though, I'd afraid I'll upset my stomach.

Ok, so the Health Advocate came, and it's most likely just a sprain, but I need to elevate and ice it as much as I can. Basically meaning I'm not going anywhere but finals this week. Bah. Oh well, it was may own fault. i have to leave for my finals in about an hour, so I think I'll review my notes and such. Wish me luck, and good luck to all of you.

How the Res Hall Stole Christmas

Every student up in Middlebrook liked Christmas alot...
But the administrators who lived below Middlebrook did NOT!

The Administrators hated Christmas!
The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that their heads weren't screwed on quite right.
It could be, perhaps, that the UDS budget was too tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all, May have been that the doors were two sizes too small.

But,Whatever the reason,
The doors or something less evident,
They stood there on Christmas Eve,
hating each resident,
Staring up from their basement with a sour, beauracratic pall
At the warm lighted windows up above in their hall.
For he knew every resident up in Middlebrook above
Was busy now, hanging wrapping paper with love.

"And they're hanging their stockings!" They snarled with a sneer.
"Tomorrow is Christmas! It's practically here!
"Then they growled, with their fingers nervously drumming,
"I MUST find a way to keep Christmas from coming!"

So they wrote up and ordinance with great tack
and proclaimed paper taped on doors is fire hazard as a matter of fact.
"Christmas trees no more!
they bring in allergens galore."
"No one shall display cheery blinking lights,
to help with legalities when the building ignites."

As we walked past the desk we heard the adminstration mutter,
"Have a long winter break, and bring home your clutter."

Good morning all. Another day, another sucked Chem test. According to Jenny I'm not allowed to be horribly dissapointed, but I am allowed to be a little bit. I didn't fail, but pretty sure I'm not getting an A in chem. The frusterating thing is that I do understand the material, and I studied as hard as I could for that one. There was nothing else that I could have done, I payed as much attention in class as was possible, did all the reccommended problems, all the homework, and all three tests from last semester. Oh well, one musn't dwell, not on Rex Manning day!

I must be off to Pre-calc discussion, midterm there tomorrow. Exciting, though after a little review it shouldn't be too difficult. I've got pre-calc much more down than Chem apparently. And I now understand logarithms! Yey.

And I'm back. Mmmm mint hot chocolate, excellent. I've discoverd on days like today a warm beverage is essential for surviving the trip acrossed the bridge. Coffee would taste so much better, but this will have to do until my body stops sucking. I *heart* you starbucks.

Well it's time for me to start studying hard core, and almost time for lunch! Yey, have a lovely weekend. And it's beginning to "Joanne which way to the stage?" snow!
