ALright, so I know my last post wasn't exactly all roses and raindrops, but i did ahve something happen this week that brightened my day.

I saw the cutest thing on the bus on friday. A med-student, named Ryan (don't worry, he was wearing a name tag) got on with a bag from a jewler. Onced we started moving he carefully pulled out a small white box, and pulled a smaller burgandy box out of that. A little perplexed or annoyed by all the wrapping he opened the burgandy box and inside was a gold engagement ring.

A smile spread across his face, and he closeed the box, placing it in the left pocket of his white coat. A few seconds later it became irresistable, he extracted the box and opened the lid; his smile ever widening.

By this time he couldn't resist any more. He picke dup his phone and called his girlfriend. "Hey, what's up, what's happening?" he stammered. An unknown reply was heard, and he slightly more calm declared, "Ok, you're on the third floor? I'll just come find you ina couple of minutes."

Returning the phone to his right pocket he pulled out the ring to have one more look. Confidence had returned, we stepped on to the sidewalk, he triumphantly tossed the cumbersome packing in the trash and sauntered off to ask his girlfriend to marry him.

This made my friday alittle better.
