So it's currently techincally the 19th, but I'm still on the 18th, because I have yet to go to bed. But Wonder Woman is expected home any time now. She flew into Great Spoons this evening, and I'm waiting till she gets home. AndI need a break from painting, I painted for almost 6 hours straight. ugh my upper back kills.
This afternoon Leila and I went in, and decorated our sunday school room, for our birthday party for Jesus. We're going to make birthday cards for Jesus, and sing happy birthday to him, and then we're going to play stick the baby in the manger. (Leila and I thought of different levels for this this afternoon too, level 1 is normal, level 2 is soft objects in your path, level 3, various obsticals, tables, cushions, people in your path, and level 4, I think should be full contact. ) Then we're going to have cupcakes, and hand out presents. Hooray for fun.
I also need to note that Leila was abitious and made herself a blog. I've linked her on the side. Props to Leila, you're ripping Wonder Woman already.
So painting update, my oil people is nearing completion, but I really need the paint to dry, soon. I have the stupid blue shirt that keeps smearing all over the rest of the canvas, that I really want to dry, and then the ball needs to dry before I can make shadows on it, and the pants needs to dry before I can add black over the top, and the eyes need some serious help, she now has eyebrows, but looks enraged, not the effect I was going for. Well, Mr. S can probalby help me monday. But I really want to have this done by end of the week. Then on to my masterwork over Christmas Vacation, major painting time going on then. I'm excited though, we might have painting parties at Leila's house, exciting. I will be buying my own white oil paint though, the classroom is running dangerously low, and I don't appreciate that.
Also, I found out it was Vabner's birthday yesterday, so happy Birthday to you Vabner, even though you probably don't read this. There are just tons of Birthdays around Christmas now, this is the firts year I've really had any, and it's crazy.
But I had best be getting homework done, if I do it now I can nap tomorrow between church and Stable Communion, and I expect you all to be there, as Leila is Mary, and her boyfriend Joseph (perfect no?). Blog later, and hope Wonder Woman arrives soon, so I can sleep. Love you!
