And it looks like someone has a case of the Mondays. Probably me. I've had a case of the mondays for the past three weeks. It's been rough. Falling of chairs, running into sideview mirrors, and just plain stupidity. Ah well, cest la vie. I haven't had much jouranling energy lately. I wrote in my paper journal for the first time in almost a week last night. And last night, Mahinda, Rory and I went to Adens to "work" on Pre-calc, though we ended up playing highlighters. We did get most of it done, so yey for that, and Rory got some good quotes last night, and I will post them.....Now! "I'm gonna pick your nose or something." Threatening Aden during a competative game of chess. And upon losing the game, and knocking over Aden's king "Your king just had a heart attack." But don't worry there's a kicker. "Beam me up snotty!"
So highlighters is this awesome game, if you've ever played spoons you know how to play, you just don't know you know how to play. So what happens is the dealer deals you each four cards, and keeps the rest of the pile, and there are highlighters in the middle of the table (one less than there are people playing), and what you want to do is get four of a kind. The dealer starts, and takes a card from the pile, and decideds whether they want it or not, (you can only have four cards in your hand at once) and discrads one, and then the first person to get four of a kind grabs a highlighter, and the other players no matter what they have all grab for one too. And the person left without a highlighter loses. Now, in the event a highlighter should come apart in the grabbing, the player who obtains the larger half wins. And no Makinda, you cannot grab highlighters befoer you have four of a kind.
